Why, when you were the first to announce your candidacy, not having chosen the theme of "sustainable development" for your campaign?
Jean-Marie Virot:
Because the term "sustainable development" is an intellectual fraud which it seems urgent to get out. A 10 year old child will quickly realize that our little planet Earth, with limited resources, we can not do 6 billion people living today, tomorrow 9 billion, making believe that we can waste sustainably. They have the right to development, but this development can be designed on the model we have today.
